A Collaboratory Creation: How the Cookies Crumbled:
Jason of Colors By Cultivar tells us about the creation of Candy Juice as a blend of two of his favorites: Designer Runtz and Undertow.
Designer Runtz typically gives lime green hues, with the signature sweet, creamy candy side coming from its lineage, harnessing the potency and flavor of giants like Gelato and Zkittlez. When Jason paired it with the Undertow, the purple just exploded across its different phenotypes, giving it a bag appeal that just stops you in your tracks.
To create Undertow, Jason brought together Wet Betty from Exotic Genetix and Gushers from Cookies Fam, then crossed Gushers back into it to give it a dense, gassy yielder.
Berner (Cookies Fam’s co-founder) ended up seeing this pheno and was so impressed with Jason’s work that he immediately added Undertow to his lineup of genetics, giving Cookies a whole new profile to their top shelf.
