Terp Sneeze: Eye-Watering Flavor & Potency

This cultivar is a crazy terpene surprise that was made by crossing two potent cultivars, an F3 Sapphyre with an Iced Latte F2. This genetic was pulled from a massive pheno hunt. Ben at Speedrun Seeds gave us the scoop on the origin of the name: 

"We grew out our test runs and we had given a batch to somebody. He made some rosin out of it. I took a dab, and I was sneezing for a while. It stung my nose, that terpene sting… So we called it Terp Sneeze.”

“We managed to select Sapphyre’s blue raspberry flavor and add some complexity and depth. It's Magical. It has this fruity loudness but also a gassy, sharp terp profile that gives it a sting when you smell it or take a dab."

Selected for the “Blue Rasberry” Terp and a Perfect Bushy Structure

Taking on the noble goal of making the most terpene-rich cultivar overflowing with trichomes,  Ben and the team set out to make something that would be a pearl in anyone’s garden. Both of the parents were selected based on three criteria: dense resin production, terpene percentage, and complexity of aroma. Sapphyre F3 brings its delicious blue raspberry candy nose, and Iced Latte F2 adds the extreme frost. 

“We planted 2000 plants of that strain, and then we stabilized the traits that we wanted in it before we ever crossed it with anything.”

Terp Sneeze was honed and refined by Speedrun into the perfect expression they intended. This was done over the course of multiple pheno hunts, selecting the plants with the best flavor, nose, trichome production, and structure. Hundreds of early versions of Terp Sneeze were thrown away to find the ultimate example, combining all the best parts of its parents.
