Founder Robert Bergman started his home-growing journey with five plants. After nearly two decades in industrial grows, labs and large-scale setups, he set out to share what he knew. With a few friends, “I Love Growing Marijuana” was born — at first just a blog about growing cannabis, not a store.

The Store Opens

ILGM launched an online store, making it far easier for growers to access high-quality seeds and resources. It wasn’t only about selling products — it was about spreading the joy of cultivation, empowering beginners and veterans alike to grow with confidence.

A Home-Grow Boom

Home growing had never been more popular. Global lockdowns pushed our team remote and sparked a surge in cultivation, as tens of thousands turned to growing their own. It reshaped how we work and reinforced the value of self-sufficiency.
