When you are looking for a marijuana strain that will get you going and calm you down, try a bit of Mimosa. The Mimosa marijuana strain combines an explosive citrus taste with the therapeutic effects of Purple Punch. The sativa-dominant hybrid is relaxing, uplifting, and with feminized autoflowering seeds, even easier to grow.
While it’s unknown who created the Mimosa strain, we do know that it combines the flavorful Clementine and the potent Purple Punch. This flavorful strain will put you in a good mood, causing you to feel creative and focused. It is also a child of Tangie, a popular citrus-inspired sativa. Our autoflower version adds ruderalis genetics for automatic flowering after a set vegetative period.
The Mimosa feminized autoflowering seeds we sell are a sativa dominant hybrid with many characteristics similar to its Clementine parent. However, there is also a 50/50 indica/sativa version called Mimosa v6, created by Symbiotic Genetics.
Our Mimosa autoflowering strain is unlike other sativa strains thanks to its ability to handle cold weather. Grow these outdoors in most climates without worrying about triggering the flowering time. These autoflowering, feminized Mimosa seeds also have excellent mildew and disease resistance.
These are feminized, autoflowering seeds. Female plants, contrary to male plants, actually produce bud. On top of that, autoflowering seeds don’t require light deprivation to start blooming and are ready to harvest in 10 to 14 weeks. We advise checking our germination instructions for guaranteed results.
Mimosa can thrive in cooler temperatures and survive the occasional cool nights. These qualities make it suitable for continental and temperate climates as well as Mediterranean climates. For the best results, keep temperatures between 68 - 75 degrees Fahrenheit during the vegetative and flowering periods.

We recommend giving your plants:
The height of your Mimosa plant will vary depending on conditions such as lighting, growing medium, and care given. Mimosa weed seeds typically grow into medium-sized plants with an average height of 48 - 60 inches. However, autoflower strains tend to be shorter than photoperiod Cannabis strains due to a shorter vegetative period.
The Mimosa Autoflower strain takes a couple of days to reach the seedling stage. Once a seedling, the vegetative phase lasts for 3 to 4 weeks.
Mimosa Autoflowering plants automatically enter the flowering stage based on timing, not the light cycle. Harvest plants in 10 to 14 weeks; however, the specific timing of harvest and the length of the flowering cycle will depend on the climate and the amount of light per day.
Mimosa Autoflower plants produce yields ranging from 5 to 15 ounces. Individual harvests will vary based on whether you grow indoors or outdoors, if you use soil or hydroponics, and how you care for the plant. Low-stress techniques, like increased lighting, optimized growing mediums, and pruning, can encourage a higher yield.
Despite its sativa dominance, Mimosa's indica roots help bring about a well-balanced recharge from the highs and lows of life. This is a feel-good blend whose lemon aroma and flavour are perfect for putting a smile on your face at the beginning or end of your day.
The Mimosa strain offers medium to high potency, with average THC levels falling between 20-24%. CBD levels are less than 1%. Growers can boost resin production and potency with organic nutrients and Cannabis training techniques.
Mimosa Cannabis has high levels of energy-boosting limonene. This terpene is also found in grapefruits, oranges, and lemons, providing citrus flavors and smells. There is also a bit of myrcene.
Mimosa has a citrus and tropical flavor due to the high levels of limonene. However, because it’s a hybrid, you can also expect tasty, earthy notes that ride under the sweet and citrus fragrance.
Mimosa marijuana is a great way to recharge after a long day or start any day off on the right foot. The buds of this all-natural energizer will boost your overall mood, causing you to fight stress and contemplate the world around you. It’s important to keep some water nearby when partaking; it has been known to cause dry mouth.

Can you clone autoflower plants? It's one of the most common questions from growers who've found a strain they love and want to replicate it. Read ArticleKnowing when to top autoflowers is one of the most important timing calls you'll make in the grow room. Topping autoflowers the right way builds a bushier, higher-yielding plant.
