Purple is a symbol of nobility, and these three strains are nothing short of royal. All have beautiful purple hues, but that is where their similarity ends. While Grand Daddy Purple and Purple Kush are full indicas, Purple Haze is a sativa-dominant hybrid. And while Purple Haze and Grand Daddy Purple are both beginner-friendly strains to grow, Purple Kush is better suited for those with some experience.
That is what makes this mix pack so epic - you can get a little bit of everything. One thing that all three strains do have in common is their tendency to make you feel good. After all, why shouldn't you also feel like royalty when smoking these strains?
Grand Daddy Purple is a popular 100% indica strain with a lot of power due to its high THC content (23%). It is best known on the West Coast of the United States where it is famous for its effectiveness in treating pain and psychoactive ailments. It is a great strain for relaxing, and it will hit you hard (in a good way). For this reason, you should only consume it in the evening when you have nothing else to do afterward.
Despite CBD levels being on the lower end, Grand Daddy Purple medicinal properties are almost as popular as its recreational ones. It might also be effective in helping alleviate symptoms of stress, physical pain, insomnia, depression, and a lack of appetite.
Lots of people also find Grand Daddy Purple to be incredibly delicious. Whether you like the flavor or not, you have to admit that it is distinct. A combination of grapes and berries as well as citrus, earthiness, and pine are all part of the signature Grand Daddy Purple flavor (both in smell and taste).
Grand Daddy Purple marijuana plants are easy to grow because they are super disease-resistant. The only source of 'pickiness' in this plant are humidity levels, which should stay right around 50%. Grand Daddy Purple plants will get to be approximately 5 feet tall if left to their own devices. Indoor plants will yield 14 ounces of smokable marijuana per square meter, while outdoor plants yield 17 ounces per plant.
Although it is another 'purple' strain of marijuana, Purple Haze has a very different character than Grand Daddy Purple. Purple Haze is a sativa-dominant strain (70%). Its fame came after a specific mention by Jimi Hendrix in the 1960s. You can see why once you try it; euphoria is the name of the game with Purple Haze.
Purple Haze is easy to grow and is totally beginner-friendly. These plants are hardy and resistant to diseases, and they do well both indoors and out, although their indoor yield is generally higher, reaching 19 ounces per square meter (as compared to its outdoor yield of 14 ounces per plant).
Purple Haze induces an energizing euphoria, giving you joy and giggles in a pleasant burst. You will feel alert and creative, making it a good daytime strain. Besides just making you feel good, Purple Haze has medical benefits as well. On some occasions, I can help with problems such as joint pain, muscle spasms, headaches, cramps, and migraines. On the psychological side, it might prove beneficial in remedying depression, anxiety, nervousness, and insomnia.

The second 100% indica strain in this mix pack, Purple Kush comes from Hindu Kush and Purple Afghani parents. Like many strong indicas, Purple Kush is a big hit on the West Coast. Purple Kush makes the user chill to a delightful extreme, helping people fall straight asleep. Euphoria and warmth are also common effects of this awesome strain.
People use Purple Kush to help relieve symptoms of pain such as from injuries or related to muscle tension. It also helps treat symptoms of stress, depression, anxiety, lack of appetite, and insomnia.
Purple Kush is not as easy to grow as the previous strains in this mix pack, and it tends to thrive in an outdoor grow environment. It does have good resistance to pests, but keep the ventilation moving to prevent any mold or mildew development. Outdoor Purple Kush plants generally yield 8 ounces per plant, while indoor ones get about 14 ounces per square meter of plant.
