Tangie Autoflowering Seeds
Tangie Autoflower is a tasty, award-winning hybrid with sativa-dominant characteristics. This cultivar produces a potent high for both beginner and savvy Cannabis users, with generous THC levels ranging from 14 to 20%. This energizing strain delivers a strong citrusy flavor and aroma that excites and delights in autoflowering seeds that are easier to grow than regular seeds.
Tangie Origins
Tangie attempts to recreate the similar Tangerine Dream of the 1990s, a cross between Haze, Afghani, and G13. But unlike the Dream version, Tangie was created by crossing Skunk-1 and California Orange. It was developed in 1995 by Reserva Privada and the DNA Army, earning first place in the 2013 Cannabis Cup.
This version also utilizes Cannabis ruderalis to create autoflowering marijuana. Cannabis with ruderalis genetics has a very short growing cycle. Growers can harvest crops quickly in any lighting, usually within 21-30 days. Expect a fast harvest.
What is Tangie Autoflower?
By crossbreeding sativa and indica plants with ruderalis, you create autoflowers. This subtype of wild Cannabis thrives in regions where summers are short and daylight hours are long, such as its homeland of Siberia. Autoflower versions flower based on age instead of a seasonal change in daylight hours.
Tangie Autoflower, or Tangie' matic as its also known, reaches its maximum vegetative period in less than 30 days. Because of this, outdoor growers can cultivate two crops in just one season during long summers. This is also true when grown early enough in the season that the flowering phase begins before the frost comes.
Growing Tangie Autoflower Seeds
Our autoflowering seeds are also feminized, which means we guarantee they'll produce female plants. Unlike males, females actually produce weed. Autoflowers tend to stay small, with some versions reaching 15 to 30 inches tall when grown indoors, making them perfect for balconies, closets, or tents. Once flowered, you'll enjoy its resinous buds and vibrant green leaves with orange hairs.
For experienced growers, Tangie grows quite well, although newbies have also seen great results. The plant is small and dense, giving it some susceptibility to mold. Although ruderalis genetics make this plant very robust. It's a good idea to keep an eye on the temperature, humidity, and moisture to prevent mold.

Preferred Climate
Tangie Cannabis plants love a tropical climate. They do best when kept between 68 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity levels are best at around 50%. If growing outdoors, ensure the temperature is warm enough.

Flowering and Yield
Tangie flowering time already isn't that long, and the autoflowering version won't need a change in lighting to trigger it. Your harvest will be ready in between 10 to 14 weeks. During the 7th to 9th week of its flowering phase, the aromatic buds begin to gain weight dramatically. Grow it outdoors or indoors for yields anywhere from 5 to 15 ounces. But to achieve maximum performance, grow it outdoors with enough space to grow to its full potential.
Experiencing The Tangie Strain
Don't get caught off guard by its relaxing aroma and clear-headed, energetic high that leaves you feeling active and creative. Creatives enjoy its uplifting abilities that are ideal for building, drawing, writing, and socializing.
Known as a “wake and bake” strain, Tangie delivers energy boosts that help get the day started with a bang and a strong appetite. The only downside is a dry, cotton mouth. This strain may also cause paranoia when not used in moderation; however, typically, you can expect clear-headed energy, euphoria, and happiness.
Tangie Smell and Taste
Tangie gives off an unmistakable sweet and citrusy smell, making it naturally enticing and pleasant. This strong citrus scent makes the brain expect a cerebral, relaxing experience. The influence of California Orange's heritage is evident in both Tangie's aromatic buds and its outstanding sharp orange flavors. Expect a pleasant fruity taste to invade your pallet.
The flavor of this strain of Cannabis is pure tangerine with Linalool terpenes adding a creamy quality. Tangie weed is tart with a citrus zing that's more citrus than sweet. However, its fruity flavors qualify it as a dessert strain.
Uses for Tangie
Tangie is a stress killer, allowing complete relaxation without the lazy effect. The deep relaxation also leaves you clear-headed and happy, making it an excellent strain for banishing depression.
Tangie is also beneficial for focus and calm, which may be helpful for those with ADD, ADHD, and PTSD. Moderately high THC levels make it potent, but its sativa-dominant qualities allow clear thinking to shine through the euphoria. Tangie's mood-altering traits are noticeable yet mild enough for regular use.
