The Story starts in 2021, after a huge pheno hunt of over 5000 Vanilla Latte plants outdoor, a prized cultivar by renowned breeders at Humboldt Seed Company. Ben and the team from Speedrun Seeds carefully selected the two phenotypes that he wanted to work with. Yes, you read right: 2 out of 5000 were kept and stabilised. One of these winners was crossed with 00 Kush (from 00 Seed Bank) to create Iced Latte.

“We were able to identify and select a rare phenotype that only occurred around once every 800 plants. We were looking for trichome density, large trichome heads, and large buds with tight internodal structure.”
