Choosing Seeds
Feminized seeds flower and grow weed when they receive less than 12 hours of light per day. Harvest outdoors in fall, or indoors after 15-20 weeks. Professional growers use these.
Autoflower seeds grow small, easy-growing plants that you can harvest in 10-14 weeks. Great for new growers, small spaces, and multiple harvests per season!
How To Germinate
Germination is guaranteed when you soak the seeds in water up to 72 hours in darkness. When it shows a tail, put it in loose soil with fertilizer. Keep it light and damp and a seedling will appear!

Despite its indica dominance, Cherry Pie is surprisingly cerebral. Your mind will start off a chain reaction of relaxation that leaves you in a body-heavy state of euphoria. Those who try this Cherry Pie find themselves quickly forgetting about their worries and fully unwinding.
Growing this strain won't cause you much stress either. Cherry Pie seeds are moderately easy to grow, especially when feminized. The dense buds are also a visually exciting blend of orange and purple, making the entire process (growing and consuming) delightful. This strain is a go-to for those who love potency and aroma.
Cherry Pie Strain Origin
The origin of this fragrant pot has always been disputed. What we do know is Cherry Pie is indica dominant, with around 20% of its genetics being sativa. Because of its effects, it is widely believed that Cherry Pie originated from Granddaddy Purple and Durban Poison, but this has not been confirmed.
Growing Cherry Pie Feminized Seeds
These are feminized Cherry Pie seeds. Female plants, contrary to male plants, are the ones that actually produce weed. They start flowering when they receive less light per day, i.e. in the fall or when you manipulate the light cycle indoors.
We also advise reading our germination instructions for guaranteed success sprouting your seeds.
Preferred Climate
Cherry Pie seeds can be grown either outside or indoors with moderate difficulty. For years, this strain was clone-only and very difficult to acquire, but now, we finally have feminized seeds. Its clone background makes it more susceptible to damage from stress, therefore, growing indoors is recommended for beginner and intermediate growers. Other than that, this plant is resistant to pests and diseases, especially when grown in a favorable environment.
When grown outdoors, Cherry Pie plants need lots of sunshine and warmth in a low-humidity environment, especially during the flowering period.
Flowering and Yield
Indoors, Cherry Pie flowers in about 8 to 9 weeks. Yields can reach as much as 14 ounces per plant. Outdoors, plants can be harvested around the end of October, with expected yields of about 17 ounces per plant.
Whether you grow your Cherry Pie plants outside or inside, they will grow to a medium height with very potent buds.
Feeding Cherry Pie Plants
When feeding nutrients to this plant, choose organic products. That way, you don't stress the plants out much. If you're not experienced in providing nutrients to plants, start off slow. Then, take your time observing how the plants handle it.

Experiencing The Cherry Pie Strain
Cherry Pie is well known for its long-lasting cerebral high, followed by a body-heavy high that leads to full-on relaxation. This strain is known for awakening happy feelings of joy that uplift while also encouraging creativity.
You'll experience a gentle burst of energy that encourages good vides in even the most sociable gatherings and situations. The well-balanced high provided by this strain is gentle enough for you to work throughout the day, clear-headed and worry-free. At the same time, it's calming indica properties won't drain or slow you down.
Like most marijuana strains, Cherry Pie can lead to dry mouth and eyes. It may also make you dizzy, especially if you aren't used to high THC strains. Those prone to anxiety may have some trouble with this strain, as its intensely cerebral effect can cause headaches, migraines, or other mind-altered conditions. If this is a concern, start slow.
Cherry Pie Taste and Smell
If you like your marijuana loud, Cherry Pie will not disappoint. With an aroma that smells much like a freshly baked cherry pie, you'll love the sweet and sour scent that fills the room. Some say it smells like cherries, while others say it is more like blueberries.
Flavor-wise, the effect of this strain is both tangy and pleasant. Yes, it tastes like smoked cherries, but there is also a hint of flavored earthiness. Compared to the aroma, the taste is quite mild, but the berry hints are distinctive and very pleasant to the tongue.
Uses for Cherry Pie
As a potent bearer of relaxation, the Cherry Pie strain is a favorite among many regular marijuana users. It is excellent at lifting the spirits of even the most negative moods. It's tendency to deeply relax the mind also makes it great at reducing stress. Its uplifting, sativa-like euphoria can brighten most moods and shift negativity to positivity with just a few inhales.
This strain isn't all about mood, however. Cherry Pie can also help those with too much stress or pain finally fall asleep. The heavy body high that this hybrid delivers relieves tension you may not have even realized you had. If you need a break from what ails you, a slice of this pie might be the perfect fit.
Finally, Cherry Pie is great for the tummy. Whether you are dealing with a loss of appetite or a bit of nausea brought on from overindulgence, this strain will tell your brain it is time to eat. With this hybrid, you can sit back, munch on some healthy snacks and drift off into a restorative nap. Just keep plenty of water nearby.
