Tangie Origins

Tangie attempts to recreate the similar Tangerine Dream of the 1990s. However, unlike Tangerine Dream (a cross of G13, Afghani, and a Haze), Tangie crosses California Orange and Skunk-1. The award-winning tangerine-inspired hybrid was developed in 1995 by Reserva Privada and the DNA Army. It even earned first place in the 2013 Cannabis Cup.

Tangie isn't the first try at recreating the classic Tangerine Dream strain; however, it is the most common tangerine-flavored cultivar. Even if you're certain you're growing Tangie, the phenotype can differ based on who grows it. Although there are a few different versions of Tangie, they all deliver a rich citrus flavor and a euphoric experience.
