If you're looking for a couch-lock effect, take a good look at Super Skunk autoflower seeds. It gives the user a pleasant version of the couch-lock, however, given the fact that you remain clear in thought and capable of concentration.
Rather grow photoperiod seeds? Take a look at our Super Skunk feminized seeds.
Super Skunk is a skunk lover's dream. Its extremely skunky smell delights the skunk lover's senses. This hybrid is mostly indica in origin - but it is also 20% sativa. This makes the strain a popular hit worldwide, especially for those looking for a very relaxing high.
This particular version of Super Skunk is a feminized autoflower strain. Feminized means that the seeds will all be female. Growers won't have to remove any male plants from their gardens and can simply focus on growing. Autoflowering refers to when marijuana plants go into their flowering phase.
Regular marijuana plants enter the flowering phase when the light begins to change with the seasons. In other words, these plants are photosensitive, and will naturally flower and ripen by the end of October (the exact timing depends on the climate and geographical location). Autoflowering plants, however, enter the flowering phase according to their own internal clock rather than according to the seasonal changes in the amount of sunlight.
Autoflowering marijuana plants can be very useful indoors because growers won't need to alter the amount of sunlight they are exposing their plant. Instead, the flowering phase starts automatically, and outdoor growers could potentially get more than one harvest out of a growing season. They can do their first harvest in the middle of summer, for example. Autoflowering marijuana plants are generally smaller than other marijuana plants, and Super Skunk is no exception.
Super Skunk was the result of breeding Skunk #1 (a hybrid) with an Afghani indica. Super Skunk was the first hybrid bred with an Afghani strain, making it different from the early, original Skunk (Skunk #1).
Super Skunk Autoflower produces potent effects with 18-20 % THC levels and strong skunky aromas. The strain flowers in 9-10 weeks and yields 350-450 grams per square meter with excellent bud density and resin production.
This upgraded version has denser and thicker buds. These buds are pungent and yet sweet, making for an overall pleasing effect.
Once upon a time we only knew about Cannabis indica and Cannabis sativa plants. These are seasonal plants that start growing in spring and are ready to be harvested when days turn shorter - so towards fall.
Indoor growers learned to imitate nature by manipulating this light cycle.
In the early '80s a third species, ruderalis, was brought to Amsterdam. This plant is a Cannabis relative that was discovered in Siberia. Breeders found that this ruderalis plant would flower after just a few weeks, regardless of light differences. These ruderalis genes were combined with existing indica and sativa strains and the autoflower type was born.
Nowadays, you can find autoflower seeds of all sorts of popular strains. They grow smaller plants, but they're easier to grow, and you can harvest much sooner than with photosensitive plants. They are great for new growers, growing in a small space or if you want multiple harvests per season!
Super Skunk is an easy plant to grow, making it very popular for beginners and veterans alike. The autoflowering strain has a very short flowering period (only 48 days, on average), so multiple harvests are a definite possibility if you plant it right.
Super Skunk grows best indoors, although it will also do perfectly fine outdoors. It is a compact plant (its height will reach between 16 and 28 inches). It yields approximately 5 to 15 ounces of marijuana per plant.

Super Skunk autoflowers produce a strong buzz that oozes with both relaxation and clarity. It is a highly physical smoke, making it an excellent choice for those wanting something strong to relax with.
Although the effects can easily vary from person to person, Super Skunk is known for its relaxing effects if nothing else. Its high is very body-focused (thus the couch lock), which keeps the head fresh, clear, and able to think straight.
Because of Super Skunk's ability to keep your mind focused but your body slow and calm, it occasionally can lead to a feeling of nervousness or anxiety. The slowed bodily effects of Super Skunk can confuse a user whose brain and thoughts still remain clear. Some Super Skunk smokers complain about the strong hunger attributed to this strain, but this can be both a positive and a negative effect, however.
In general, expect a relaxed, yet creative and euphoric high. You may also experience hunger, dry mouth, paranoia, and anxiousness.
Super Skunk Autoflower has that characteristic skunk smell, mixed with a sweet, citrus taste. The smell is overpowering for some and delightful for others. Some would describe it as smelling like fungi in the woods or a strong artisanal cheese.
The difference in the smell and the taste seems almost illogical. Its flavors are fruity and sweet, with earthiness and citrus blended in. This differs greatly from its pungent, skunky smell, although it maintains the skunk undertones when you taste it.
There are therapeutic reasons to use Super Skunk, especially since it causes intense relaxation. Many people rely on it to relieve stress and relax the muscles and the mind. Compared to traditional options, the negative effects of this strain are mostly mild or manageable. Many people enjoy this strain to quiet pain caused by stress, get much-needed rest or soothe tension related conditions.
Super Skunk is also effective at balancing moods. Whether you deal with anxiety or constantly battle sadness, this strain has just enough sativa to stimulate good feelings, while still being overall relaxing. The moderate levels of THC (14%) make it easy to take small amounts as needed.
Super Skunk is also great at quieting nausea and stimulating appetite in those that need it. Following those munchies, most people experience deep relaxation and may drift off to sleep.
